Check This Out My Little Weinerschnitzels!

And there I was, standing in front of a huge barrier that once divided a city in two, enjoying my Turkish doener kebap like it was nothing major. I couldn’t get over how weird that was...I mean, about eight years ago, I was sitting in Frewsburg Central School just learning about the Berlin Wall. Now, I’m actually in that place, seeing it for myself, touching it with my own two hands.

Just to Recap: The Berlin Wall was erected by the Soviets in the ‘60s in order to divide the Communist East from the Commercial West. On November 9th, 1989, the Wall fell. Now, where the largest remaining portion of the wall still stands, artists from all around the world are invited to paint murals- symbolizing a ‘New Berlin.’

Check it out...the artwork is amazing in person!

^Look how thin the Wall really was...

^For all my fellow small peeps :) xo

And after an artsy day at the wall, we went out for some German BIER and ice cream. Super!

Auf Wiedersehen. xo.
